Music For Shuffle

Sketch #19

Super quick one, after spending far too long on the last one. I hit record, improvised on the piano for 20 minutes, then chopped and sliced for another 20 minutes. Bosh. (Someone should do a live music show that works like a cookery show. I’d watch that.)

It’s rough and ready – the cuts and splices are way more noticeable, but this contrasts pretty well with the syrupy chords and drone, I think. Just about holds together.

Used Mr Bridle’s Rorschmap for the visuals. Took random screenshots as it flew over some rural part of England, then giffed them up. I was listening to this sketch as I was doing it, and now I’d quite like to write an endlessly-evolving, location-generative soundtrack for Rorschmap itself. Hmm.
